Terrace awning Dakar Selt
The Dakar Selt Terrace Awning is a full-cassette construction at its best. In the closed position, only the oval cassette is visible which completely covers the arm structures. The awning elements are powder coated in five standard colors. The awning can be optionally fitted with an electric drive with automatic control and LED lighting.
The Dakar Selt Terrace Awning is perfect for shading larger terraces. A full streamlined cassette gives this awning a modern and elegant look, at the same time protecting the fabric and arms from the weather. To further increase the protection of the fabric, protective seals were used inside the cassette. The awning uses folding arms made of aluminum alloy, which are mounted on console handles. Precision joints with a chain of stainless steel Flyer ensure their durability and reliable operation.
The very durable structure of the terrace awning allows it to be made in large sizes. The maximum width is 6 m and the projection is even 3.6 m.

Awning measurement
The Dakar Selt Terrace Awning is made to measure. As for the width, there are no standard sizes. The maximum width is 600 cm and the projection is 360 cm. We always provide the total external width of the awning, including handles, when ordering or quoting. The overhang is the degree of development of the awning.

Installation of the Awning
The awning blind has wall brackets (1) as standard. For an additional fee, we can buy brackets for the ceiling (2) or the roof rafter (3). The assembly of the awning is basically very simple and is limited to mounting the brackets on the wall. The awning is now completely twisted and adjusted. If necessary, we can also freely set the tilt angle.

Awning Drive and Automation
- As standard, the awning is equipped with a manual drive, operated by a crank (no extra charge)
- For an additional fee, the awning can be equipped with an electric motor that automatically retracts the awning. This motor is also available in the version with emergency opening, i.e. an additional crank that allows you to control the awning manually
- A wireless remote control with a control unit can be selected for an awning with a motor
- A wind sensor, a vibration sensor can be selected for an awning with a motor
Fabric colors
We offer you over 100 different colors of fabrics (striped and plain). All fabrics are produced by a reputable European company. They are distinguished by color fastness, high resistance to light and weather conditions, resistance to tearing under the influence of high stresses, air permeability and water resistance at the same time. They are made of 100% acrylic and coated with Teflon. This creates an excellent protective barrier, and also prevents dirt from sticking to the material.
